My Journey in rededication to Jesus Christ
My Story
Hello, brothers and sisters. My name is Laurie Moore. I’m a 38-year-old wife and mother to twin teenage boys with low-functioning autism. Life has brought its share of challenges, including my battle with fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease of the neck. As I prepare to be classified as disabled, I’ve found myself reflecting on how God’s strength is made perfect in my weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Recently, I rededicated my life to the Lord, and I’m here to share that journey with you. For many years, I wandered far from Jesus, allowing the world to take hold of my heart. Like Lot, I “pitched my tent toward Sodom” (Genesis 13:12) and eventually found myself at the gate, surrounded by things that led me away from Him. But praise be to God for His mercy! Just as He delivered Lot, He also rescued me, pulling me away from the path of destruction and setting me on solid ground.
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.” – Psalm 37:23-24
While I grieve over the damage done to my testimony, I rejoice in the grace of God, who never gave up on me. Now, I am working to repair the errors of my past by surrendering to His will and walking faithfully in His light.
Through this blog, I hope to share my journey of healing—spiritually, physically, and emotionally—and encourage others to draw closer to Jesus, one step at a time. My life is far from perfect, but I believe that God can use even the broken pieces to glorify His name.
If you’ve ever felt distant from God or struggled to overcome past mistakes, I invite you to join me. Together, we can seek Him daily and trust in His promises.
“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23
Thank you for being here. Let’s walk this road of faith together, leaning on God’s strength and mercy every step of the way.
